'''Brian Keith Urlacher''' (born May 25th, 1978 in Pasco, Washington) is a linebacker for the Chicago Bears of the National Football League.
Early life
Brian Urlacher was born to a humble beginning in Pasco, Washington. His parents, Brad and Lavoyda, divorced during the 1980’s, leaving Lavoyda to take custody of the children. Eager to start a new life, Lavoyda moved her family to Lovington, New Mexico.
Lavoyda wanted to ensure that her children would receive adequate upbringing, and thus spent a majority of her time tied between three low income jobs. Eventually, Lavoyda married Troy Lenard, a hardworking cowboy and oil field worker. While Troy was a strict father, he helped mold his children into finely tuned adults.
It was during this time that Brian had established himself as an avid athlete, who excelled in basketball and football. While attending Lovington High School, Brian began to hone his impressive physical characteristics, by spending countless hours exercising. Despite Brian’s natural talent and intimidating physique, his humility and shyness often restrained him from reaching his full potential.
Over the course of the following years, this would all change. Brian grew nearly five inches, and through rigorous training added more than sixty pounds of muscle to his body. It was at this point where Brian underwent a metamorphosis from a mediocre wide receiver, to a “monster of the gridiron”. By combining his speed, agility, and brute strength, Brian became a walking concoction of sheer dominance, leading his high school football team to a flawless 14-0 season. Brian not only proved himself as an offensive threat, but also as defensive dynamo, earning him wide spread fame as safety and a receiver.
Brian’s successful career as an athlete led him to become a hometown hero in Lovington. Despite Brian’s newfound glory, he refused to exploit his popularity. Whilst remaining a low profile, Brian spent a majority of his free time playing Ping-Pong, and drinking chocolate milk with his friends. Brian helped set a good example for his peers by shunning underage alcohol consumption and excessive partying.
College Career
Although Brian was partial to attending Texas Tech University, his dreams were cut short after the University failed to offer Brian a much-needed
